Look forward to returning in the future.Miami International Airport is one of the busiest transportation hubs in the United States. Loved the welcome package for being an elite member and overall the staff was incredible and staff makes or breaks a hotel so often. Staff said it is very unusual but something to keep in mind. We didnt have lugage (later afternoon cruise) so we were able to squeeze in to an elevator but many guests were very mad. So capacity was cut by at least half by that lack of employees controlling the elevators. They didn't so instead every elevator stopped at every floor both UP and DOWN as people hit both buttons in hopes of quicker rides. The hotel should have had staff manning the elevators so that once the elevator was full they could expedite it to the floor level and unload. On Cruise day in the morning there was a major snafu with elevators with people waiting for 30 mins for elevators as everyone was rushing to get out with their luggage to the cruise ships. So while it was a surprise the hotel handled it very well. She knew my diet soda addiction was one reason I liked the club and she stocked our room with diet soda, water and extra coffee pods for my wife (she drinks coffee in the clubs). Unfortunately the club level was closed when we were there (didnt say anything on website) but Valeria in customer service was amazing. Hotel just refurbished all the rooms and they are very nice, the shower was amazing with great pressure and awesome showerheads. Lovely pool (warm water) and great atmosphere. Great location, right by the waterfront, can see the cruise ships, a nice park to walk right next door and lots of food, stores and venues in walking distance. Highly recommended Nelly and Ivan for the massage specialists! My headache was completely gone, and I felt much better with my muscle aches.… She always greeted me with the highest positivity, whether it was a call or when I visited the spa. I was glad to have met her talking about her career as well as mine! I did not forget about Caroline at mySpa. Especially, Rhiannon at the concierge desk was the best person I've met in all of my hotel stays! She made my stay as enjoyable as possible even during the rainy days, and also, she made sure it was easy for me to get to the locations. I really loved the exceptional service from the servers at ToroToro. The fridge had a loud engine noise at night, which kept me for a while from sleeping. The towel rack was too close to the sink, and the tap was too low, causing the water to be all over the sink. The view was as great as the photo on the website, but the amenities were inconvenient for me. However, I had to wait a little less than an hour for my room to be ready, even with the early arrival note on my reservation, and the bell desk staff were not smooth in assisting with my luggage. I began to love this hotel when I saw the lobby.
